The folks at The Druid City Garden Project were in an area ravaged by the tornado in Tuscaloosa. Yet they have managed to pull together and keep this amazing local garden project going. This afternoon, from 4 to 6 pm, they will open their garden gates to the public. They have sunflowers and zinnias sold at two stems for $1 and purple hull peas at $2 per pound.
If you can't make it this afternoon, then drop by on Sunday, July 10th, at the same time same place. Show your support for homegrown goods.
